If you get these LOSB5034 and LOSR2135 the roto start back plate you can use a bump box if you have other nitro vehicles. I did this on my sons 810 and now on his nitro SCTE 4x4 because i have gone through about 10 gears in the R.O.S.S. system. With those you will have to grind the back plate on the motor or it will cock the motor forward. You wont have to take a lot, just so the back plate is level with the motor. Have been using it on the 810 for over a year and have not had a problem.
I have other losi's so i have the losi bump box and will work with it and i can still use it to start my buggy and truggy. I didnt have to buy another starter box just for those. But if you go with a pull start you will need this LOSR2137. It is the back plate and pull start. Price is about the same but one is bolt on and the other is modding things a bit. Hope this helps.
