Default Race Report - Mugen Seiki Border Wars Rd 2

The 2nd round of the Border Wars Series was held at HCRCR this past weekend. I was able to qualify 4th overall in Truggy, and 6th overall in Pro Buggy. After some bad luck at the beginning of the truggy main, I was able to battle my way back up into the 3rd position where I would finish. The Pro buggy A-main was very fast, consisting of some of the fastest drivers in the south east. It was a close battle between myself and two other drivers for the 2nd position, but an unfortunate flamout in the pits on my last stop would hurt my chances. I would end up finishing 4th overall. The Bones Brew fuel continues to impress me with its consistency and power production. The Bones Brew shock and diff fluid is also very consistent, and tends to last and not break down as fast as some other oils we have ran in the past. Thanks for all the help and support from the guys at Bones Motorsports!!

I have the 30/8 bones brew and I want to break in a new engine. I don't want buy a quart of the break in fuel because it comes out to $20 with shipping. Could I just add some castor oil to one of the quarts I have? If so, how much should I add? Thanks

Vinny - Yes you can just add some caster oil for the breakin. Yes the Fedex shipping price for 1 quart is about as much to ship 4 quarts, which is why we now offer to sell in in quantities of 4 quarts at a time and have it bundled 3 quarts of race fuel and 1 quart of breakin, 7 quarts of race fuel and 1 quart of breakin, 11 quarts of race fuel and 1 quart of breakin.

Default Bones

I love Bones Brew. Me and a buddy have been running it all summer and it's really high quality fuel. Excellent power, and keeps the engine happy longer than most any other fuel on the market. The break in fuel works awesome too. Oh yeah excellent customer service not found in other fuels in my experience. I've run Bones in p5's, btt's, Modded stock etc. If you have not tried it go ahead and order a 12 pack haha. You will use it all and order more. we have.

Finally got to race yesterday. Fuel performed flawless all day. Even with a new engine i never touched the needles after initial tune. No flame outs, no fuss. Won the truggy A. Great fuel.

I have to agree with all my Texas boys. I am starting my second case of Bones brew and I really love the stuff. I gave a quart to a fellow racer that was running a fuel that starts with an O and his tuning issues went away. He is going to order a case this week. My engines have lots of power and just plan run all day with out a flame or anything.

Was that your semi-annual race day? I heard you were not rusty at all!
