As far as storing this stuff over the winter...I have a few unopened (still in the bag even) quarts of 30/8. I assume this stuff will still be good come next spring? It'll be stored inside at room temp.

lappdawg - Yes low humidity and keep it off of a concrete floor and it will be just fine.

Cool...it'll be on a shelf in a climate-controlled room.

I had a chance to race at the Border Wars Series Finals this past weekend at HCRCR in McDonough, GA. It was a great crowd with a lot of the top drivers from the southeast. I was able to Qualify 3rd in both Pro Buggy and Truggy with my Mugen vehicles. At the end of the 3 minute A-Mains, I came away with a 2nd in Pro Buggy and a 3rd in Pro Truggy. The engines ran great when combined with the Bones Brew 30/8 fuel, really responsive and crisp while still providing good fuel economy. Huge thanks to Brent and everyone at Bones Motorsports for all their help and support!!

lappdawg27 - Glad you like the fuel.

Kyosho Kid - methanol is very hygroscopic, meaning it will readily absorbs moisture through the air, concrete, etc. It is best to store your fuel in a dry location and up off of the concrete.

Default Reminder

Just a reminder to anyone thinking of running this fuel. It's the best fuel I've run to date. Going on 20+ years of running nitro buggies and I'm not only impressed with the power, but mostly the protection of the internal parts. I keep looking for something wrong and it's smooth sailing. I find I tear down my engines less often for cleaning with this fuel. I still use after-run oil. Nova 1n1 or 1m1 whatever it is. I go through that stuff It's humid here. But the two biggest attributes are the power and wear protection. Break in fuel is awesome too. I used in on every nova we have, after resizes, RB's and even an FX that seemed to need it the most. That is a tight engine.

Oh yeah thanks for the stickers. I just found them in the last box. Been racing a bit less. ha.

Been running this fuel for at least 3 gallons now. Love how my internals look, good power, good run times. Thanks Bones for a great product. I shall stick with this stuff. Look for another order from me soon.

Len - 12-18 months with the sealed bag and foil seal on the quart and keeping it in a dry cool place.
