Default Nitro engine has no power

I'm new to this forum, but I recently purchased a hsp 1/10 scale nitro warhead, for about 3 months since I got it, it has been running like a dream, but I went away for 2 weeks came back and it would not start, I cleaned the engine and the carby, now it starts after a lot of struggle, but when I go to accelerate full throttle it only goes quarter speed. I'm stumped and have no idea why it's doing this, I think it's my piston and sleeve, but I don't really want to waste money on a new set if its not the issue, can anyone enlighten me to my problem?
Thanks.

Yeah I replaced the glo plug with one that's glowing bright orange, and I cleaned the carb, but is there a special way to clean the high speed needle?

It could be that the engine needs to be retune.

Would be cool to see an update from the op when people are trying to help him figure his issue...

i tried tuning it, even got a mate who races professionally to tune it, still wouldnt work, we decided the engine is most likely burnt out from running the engine to lean.
which leads me to my next question, does anyone know where i can buy a new engine with the flywheel and clutch assembly already together?

If you have taken the engine apart be sure the sleeve is placed in the right position, the highest port is the exhaust port. Also with removing the head when mounting it it must go straight (crossway tightening the screws) an with all the original shim rings.

No such thing as a pre assembled motor with clutch. You'll have to install the clutch yourself. That being said. I Highly recommend the BUKU or M2C. Both SUPER Stout clutch's that will last gallons to come.

Check the fuel tank and lines for holes or clogs.

Unless you can provide specific issues that you are having a problem with, the only effective help someone can offer you is telling you find an experienced nitro guy locally.
