Default VP Powermaster Fuel.

I seen a bunch of guys running it. I overheard one guy saying this company is the importer/distributor for almost 100% of all the nitromethane for all the other fuel companies. The only thing the other companies do is add their own blend of oils.

Anyone have any experience with this product or know any more about it?

Stuff is awesome. Much longer run times than Byrons, clean burn, good price, smell isn't harsh, +1 for me.

There is a thread for this fuel. Awesome stuff! I've been using it and selling it for over a year now. Very pleased!

Your right, I didn't scroll down far enough on the search.. You type in VP powermaster fuel in the search and a bunch of random threads pop up first.

I tired to get some of this fuel last year with no luck. Called an east coast disty who connected me to a more "local" disty who never returned any of my calls. Guess my $$ is no good Mr. Torrance.

VP sales practices are very similar to what Amsoil was several years ago... Which is why it will never seriously compete with Byrons until changes are made. Good fuel, though. I'd run it if I knew I could run down to my LHS and grab a couple gallons when I needed it.

Who did you call? Name? Number? Are you a dealer? Perhaps I can help you out. Contact tommy porfirio at:

E-mail: [email protected]
Telephone: 210.635.7755
Fax: 210.635.7999

I'm not associated with vp or powermaster. I just run their fuel, and know the guys from the track.

Great fuel and reasonable price for the average non sponsored racer. I get mine through a motorcycle shop that sells vp for the motorcrossers. If the lhs can't get it try talking to them bc chances are they would be able to get some

So this stuff is pretty good? Picked up a gallon on reccomendation from the salesperson at my hobbyshop. Just wondering how it compares to byrons fuel as i've heard that is the standard. I'll be running this fuel in my nitro truggy and the truggy is my first nitro vehicle.

I switched from Byron's to VP. The VP burns cleaner and I get better run times. I've gone through a few cases of it now and it's hands down the best fuel I've ever touched.

I have been a faithful cold fusion fuel user for 4+ years. Last weekend I found myself 700+ miles away from home with all my gear to race and no fuel
Luckily my buddy who I went to go race with let me use his power master fuel. It ran great all weekend long. I was impressed, it didn't have that harsh smell that some other B fuels have and I couldn't tell any difference on temp, power or any other factors. Great stuff IMO.

Apparently a $25 well spent. I can't wait to run it this week. Plus its good that my buddy uses it as well in case i run out at a race. Also it says on the jug an oil content of 9%. Is that comparable to other fuels?

I believe 9% is pretty much the norm for race blends where bashing fuel has a little more oil. I ran the Cajun Classic race this past weekend in Amite La. and I run VP Powermaster fuel. I went from Fridays practice all the way thru Sundays 30 main and did not touch a needle on my motor all weekend. I'm sure the REDS motor had something to do with it as well but I wanted to point out how consistent the fuel is and is a pleasure to run. Great power and temps all weekend!
