You'll like the b2, but power wise for the money. Amainhobbies is having a sale on go engines 5 ports for less than $200. I would post a link but I'm on the phone.

I've got a little Go 3 port I keep in my pit box as a backup. That little thing runs excellent...and chugs away. Probably has 6 or 7 gallons on it at this point. Still purrs like a kitten.

Good little motors for the money. Me personally, I like the Alpha Plus Engines for the under $200 price point, but I do want to try a Werks B2 as well. I ran a B5 in the past and it was a great engine.

Except for the few italian engines that are made, aren't most nitro engines made in china or tawian?

I personally have not run one...and all i know is that they are updating and that's the reason for the sale...and that no matter what brand, a 5 port is going to give more power than the 3 port.....in most cases.

Go makes good-value engines. That deal on the Go GXII with pipe for $180 at amain is about as good a deal as you'll find anywhere..

Alphas are also good. It's just that that current Go deal at amain is a killer offer..

Contact Monty at Houstons engine service or Neal at clockwork racing and get yourself a Nova P5XLT. Even in stock form, you will be much happier then with one of the other motors at sub $200 range. I believe the stock P5 is $205.

I think Alpha motors are the best bang for the buck right around $210 but im sure just about all of them listed are in the same ball park.

Does sound nice. Wonder how long they are lasting? And how many minutes they are getting?

Absolute Hobbyz has the older version of the Plus 4 going for $189.00

I dont think you can get much better than that. As far as quality and power goes.

If you're thinking about a Taiwanese engine, I wouldn't wait too long. Once they got their foot in the door, they started raising prices.

Argus was a good deal, then they wanted to jack their prices up quite a bit. So now Argus doesn't have a presence in the U.S. AlphaPlus started out $209, then $224, and now $229+. Go did the same thing and others are following suit.
