Questions?? Help starting jato 2.5

Hey guys hope someone can help? about 3 months ago i drove the car into water but used a couple of times after that. Today after 3 months i decided to take it out for a spin but couldnt get it started cleaned the engine, new fuel and new spark plug, when trying to get the fuel through the
fuel line to the carb it wouldnt go through so i opened the highspeed needle then it came through but it still wont start ive primed the engine but it seems when i prime it it dont do nothing i held my finger over the exhast to 2 mins and it diddnt even flood the engine

so any ideas what could be wrong with it?

So, you had it running just fine a couple of times after you drove it through water. Now since it didnt start you opened up the HSN. How much are you talking about? Where was the HSN before you opened it up? What happened to the HSN between the last time you drove it to now? They just dont open up or close up by them self.

Have you trouble shot it yet? Have you replaced or looked at all the fuel line, tank lid gasket (they like to go bad and create a leak in the system)..

Bottom line is needles on carbs do not open and close by them selves.. If you had to open your HSN to get fuel to the carb and you havent touched the HSN between the last time you were driving the car to now there is somehing else going on......
