I run a Ninja BO1A as my primary and a Ninja BO2 as a secondary/backup, both with the EB Mods backplate and a Mugen 2042 pipe.

Default Hmm

The best truggy engine in my opinion is a p5....with a 9853ss pipe and long round header....Can you say torque....

If you really want to get busy a Houston tuned p5 with silicone filled crank and the biggest change I've felt was from a ceramic rear bearing...

A p5 with a ceramic bearing is blazin fast....but with the Houstons Pimpin service its just plain perfect....

Argus is smoother but makes similar power....the JPX is more explosive and on/off

I stick with os engines and any os speed is more than pleanty in a truggy. Right now I am running the xz speed with an eb mods power plate and 2090 pipe and header. Great combo in the truggy, easy 10 min pits, all the power you could ever want and nothing can touch it. I also like the os 25 in the truggy too it's a beast of an engine and you get pretty good mileage too. I have ran the speed engines in Losi, Mugen and now my fav truggy Serpent

Any high quality race .21 is right at home in a truggy OS is just the brand I prefer.

My setup is a little more "standard" compared to yours... LOL

RC8T CE + Reedy 121VR, works fine for me and my needs. Good all around powerband. Maybe a little more top but not a concern since no super large tracks around here.

How does the B02 compair to the B01A. One of the options I am toying with is getting the Ninja B02 and pulling the Ninja B01A out of my buggy and trying both in the truggy.

I run the Argus A52 with a JP4 pipe. Easy 10minute runtimes (closer to 12mins), and plenty of power all round. Had to gear it up to calm down the bottom end.

Losi eight 2.0T. I have run a oz vspec with dynamite 086 pipe very good engine. Then went to Alpha A872 wht 086 pipe but randomly the engine broke a rod and destroyed the engine as it was at full throttle going down a straight when it happened. Now i am running in a GO GXII and running with same 086 pipe.

Past few days here in Australia at a large event i ran a stock Novarossi P5XL in my truggy, Aweosme linear power, huge bottom end and had a substansial amount of fuel left in the tank after ten minutes which really impressed me

Admitidly it was not running its best with a noisy rear bearing but im putting in a new ceramic now,

Dave
