Default Clutches?

I know this is probably already here on RCTECH but I just want to know:

1.What clutch do you use? (stock, Fioroni, Werks, M2C etc.)
2.What setup is most commonly used?
3.When do you change your clutch setup and why?
4.When are you most likely to change your springs and why?
5.Aluminum, ergal or carbon shoes, which do you prefer or what combination works best for you?

I use the stock clutch setup in my D8 and D8T but think that I need a change and never really thought about my clutch setup until now and want to know what others use and how they determine their setup. Thanks.

Only thing you need to change on you stock setup is aluminum shoes. I run 2 aluminum shoes, and 1 carbon on truggy springs are 2/ 1.1 and 1 .09. And buggy i run 3 /.09 with all aluminum

I run the A-Plus ACS clutch. Running aluminum shoes, light springs in the #3 position. I'll change the clutch setup depending on conditions. (soften the clutch for a loose track, stiffen for a high bite track) I havent started messing with shoe weights just yet though....

I run the Buku clutch with Komposite shoes and love it. Only one size of spring to worry about, and infinitely adjustable in under 10 seconds, and zero maintenance and long-lasting. Mine is set to 2-2-3

This is a very good set up for both the Hot Bodies buggy and truggy. The only thing I do different is 1.0mm springs instead of .09mm.. I also use Answer RC flywheels, but mainly because I already had them..

If I were to run a true after market set up I would either run the Werks or Ascendency 4 shoe clutch set up..

Ascendency is a pretty good clutch system. Close to the Losi and I think that's the 4-shoe system that most of based from.

On the Hot Bodies, I always ran the stock clutch and liked it.
