What air filters?

Need air filters, Losi preoiled or VP Pro's? I figure they are about the same price after you get oil for the VP's. I plan on cleaning and reusing them at least a time or two, what do I get?

Lucky 7 filters are the best.

If you want some awsome filters and outersavers you cant go past.

www.motorsaver.com

I use them on all my RC's and they require alot less maintenence than the others.
check out the web site you wont be dissapointed..

@Trugsta, I read about using pantyhose, does that work?

jmaxey51 08-24-2011 05:01 PM

ive been running VP Pro filters for a long time and working very well. havent tried Lucky 7 yet (would like to try some soon) but hear really good things about them...

personally i dont like pre-oiled, id rather oil them myself LOL

PJ-1 airfilter spray from a motorcycle shop works great, last a long time, and isnt expensive. i trusted it with my life when i raced MX/SX so why not trust it with my little RC engine

motogod,
The new HB will have a different filter. there is really no point in investing in a old design. The new car we will make filters for.

How do you feel about me cleaning and re-using the lucky7's?

JAMMINKRAZY 08-24-2011 05:57 PM

+1 for Lucky 7! Joe's filters are awesome! I love that I can just pop them right on out of the bag and not worry about whether they're oiled too little or too much. Plus they come in a resealable bag which is sweet, just makes life that little bit easier.:D

same way i would feel if you cleaned any brand filter... In MY opinion even before i owned a filter company its not worth it. the money you spend on cleaning supplies and idk about you but my time is money, so time standing at the sink, then more money on your pj1... just buy them pre-oiled run them, toss them, n buy new ones...

now if you're asking how do I feel about you reusing Lucky 7 brand filters as far as quality.. i would say there is no issue. I wouldn't re-clean them multiple times, but i don't see cleaning them once or twice being a problem.

vw addict 08-24-2011 06:01 PM

but what about cleaning, re oiling, and reusing? I would like to get 2-3 runs out of each.

***sorry, reply came as I was posting***

I like to, and tell ppl to just pull it out of the bag give it a good couple squeezes in a clean paper towel and let it rip.
