I have used just about every oil I can think of and never dusted an engine yet. The biggest factor, use something. Virgin olive oil would be better than nothing at all.

best air filter oil IMO is bel-ray motorcycle air filter oil, huge bottle and cheap compared with rc stuff... very tacky oil..

bell ray is a good natural oil,,, just very thick for RC foam and kinda too oily for my liking or compared to our oil. Lucky 7 oil is a synthetic.

Excellent advice, this is my favorite too.. Although I just got some lucky 7 pre oiled filters and will be trying them this weekend..
