It is a speed that they have built to Haras specs, hara felt it would be stronger with steel bearings..so they gave him steel bearings. He felt he didnt need a weighted crank so they took it out. now as far as timing and porting I assume they are the same as a speed there but cant be sure. this motor is basically a collage of what Hara wanted.

Just looking at the picture of the crank posted below I can tell you it doesn't have the same crank timing as the speed. Looks a lot more like the timing on the standard XZ-B(significantly lower) just from looking at the crank intake. To me that crank looks like the crank out of the blue XZ-B with DLC coating added.

I have ran several Hara speed engines. They are a little soft on the bottom. I usually clutch it up a little and its good. He trade off is that you will see the Hara rev higher and there is an increase in mileage.

I have broken in my hara edition(didnt race yet) and its in my truggy. These thing rips!! It have maybe 25 tanks on it, I did a time run today and did 10:55 with JP-4 pipe.

The motor is def a good truggy motor. Really smooth on the bottom just like the .19 in the buggy. I really love these engines and will keep my ninja and bonito on standby.
