Alpha Plus S852 + 33% Nitro ?

i got Alpha Plus S852 in my 808 and use now 25% nitro can i use 33% nitro or is best i stay with 25%

Hi Robin,

You can use 33% in your Alpha, just use the extra 0.1 headshim that came with the engine.
I tested a Alpha 850 for Jaap Dienaar and used also 33% nitro on that engine, works fine.
The engine reacted a little more crisp on the bottem end and tuned very easy.
I youst the OS P4 glowplug wen testing that engine, worked perfect.

oke ty when i use all my 25% Niro ( 4.5L left ) then i go for 33% Nitro

What brand is the 33%? the only company that comes to mind when I think 33% is Traxxas and you couldn't pay me to run that fuel.

Robin and me live overseas, we have Merlin fuel and Meccamo fuel that offer 33% nitro fuel.
They are two off the most respected fuel company's in Europe, great stuff i prefer the Meccamo and so are a few top drivers like Aigon and Bayer.
Aother top drivers like Battle use Merlin fuel.

Yes they will run just fine on them, we ran 40% at the Nationals in Colorado Springs.
Elevation was 6500 Ft and did even reshim them!:D

Ever notice that Nitrotane has a little more "pop" to it.......
