Is this engine just a re-badged OS Speed with a front ceramic bearing and different cooling head? Or does the engine have it's own porting and timing specs??

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the interest, the crank etc are spec'ed to the latest version that the manufacturer has. As outlined earlier where I hope to make the difference is by the support and price point that we want to offer customers. The speed line has evolved whilst I was a factory driver for OS and during the time I was working with Recab with their version of the original V-Spec. I have run every version and prototypes of future versions along the way and the latest spec motor is just outright awesome.

the info might look wierd for a few pages as i merged both bullit threads together.. since they where both very low post and had good info on each thread i did not want to delete either.. sorry for the little bit of confusion..

It has one counter weight in the crank just like the XZ-B Speed.

I ran the new standard XZ-B in my truggy at the PNB4 and it was great, can't wait to test the Bullitt B-218 out in my truggy - it should be insane on power with the lightened crank, ceramic bearing, and ported sleeve. :)

nemo race report

Another awesome result for our new motor.

Jerome Sartel managed to make it into the main final at this years Euro Warm Up race. The gruelling 45 minute final was no effort for the B-218, performing perfectly all the way through. Jerome finished a fantastic 7th. Back up by Hazlewood who made the Semi- finals at this ultra competitive meeting.

Jon,

What can we expect from this mill from the outsider it resembles a 21 xz-b speed same front bearing, case and carb but what about the internals. What makes this mill different other then the cooling head. Can you clarify its porting, timing, crank, button and rear plate.

the way i understood it is it a fully ceramic speed, at a better price point, but hopefully john can put in his official .02
