Default Which motor - Nov 21 Plus 4 or the Werks B6

I currently have both, but not sure which to throw in the Truggy first. What do you experts think the best would be for a shorter tight course.

In a truggy I would go with the nova. The b6 is more of a buggy engine might be a little lacking on the bottom.

It's all relative. For our product line I consider it to have a smoother bottom end than the B5 so comparing those two, it is what imconsider more suited to buggy. Comparing the B6 to the 21+4, the B6 has more torque.

I have no idea, but I can comment on the plus-4. I helped a buddy get into the sport and the plus-4 I picked for him had much more torque than I thought it had. I could not tell the difference from my trusty p5's....It over jumped the quad and never missed a beat all weekend....

But if you already have both, try em both right.....Only way to know for sure.

I think it would be a good idea for you to try both
engines in it and post your opinion about them.
Instead of thread asking about which engine everyone
thinks is the better choice. I would rather hear your
hands on opinion of the engines, which one that you
liked best and why.

B6 has a lot more bottom than a plus 4. The B6 is smooth but not weak on the bottom by any means. I have run both in my D8T and definatly more power in general with the B6. Not bashing at all just my opinion. The plus 4 is a good engine, The B6 just I think is better in truggy.

Thanks,
Lance

I have the plus 4 2010 team edition. Awesome engine for sure but I think its more of a buggy engine than for a truggy. I did help a buddy of mine break in his new b5 in a mbx6t at the track and it ran very well and was easy to tune.

plus 4 is decent in the truck when used with the 9853ss/41021 combo , must be ok , Drake uses it

p5xlt is the goods , even better when they are tuned

remember that pipe choice can really make or break an engines performance as well as clutch and plug

+1 on Monty's advise, he knows Nova and would not steer you wrong! You have both, why not give each a shot and let us know which you preferred for your driving style? Either way though you are looking at 2 high quality, Italian made engines and can't really go wrong either way!

Once I get in my new servo and clutch I will put em in and give them a whirl. I don't have a pipe for the B6 other than the JP-2. I do have a pipe for the Nova.

No pipe, no servos, no clutch? LOL! All of this adds up to,
is another damned useless thread.

get the werks light clutch setup in whatever size you need for your respected vehicle , a set of carbon shoes as well and you will be dialed for ANY track surface
