3 shoe clutch springs

what would cause clutch springs to break on a 3 shoe clutch? i was practicing at the track today(has some pretty big jumps) and 2 of the 3 clutch springs broke. they are brand new racers edge 1.0 springs. ive never heard anyone breaking clutch springs

any ideas?

Too hot maybe? I dont know.
But ive heard of people breaking them before.
