When I get pricing, I will let it be known.

Hope the Japan earthquake doesn't have an effect on it but they have to
restore the order of life first and foremost.

Yeah i really hope that tsunami didnt wash them out over there. The .19 looks pretty good but not worth 400 bucks.

Im all about less power, I have my .21 speed turned down to 85% carb throw now.....Im not a strapped driver at all as my finger is more trained towards 1/10 electric buggy......I remember Brad Brucker from O.S./Futaba in Champaign,IL area used to run a .18(I think it was a .18, maybe a .15) in his 1/8 buggy.....Im sure one of the Odonnell guys can/will confirm.

Yep I ran 18tz all year. I was able to do anything a. 21 did. I got 10-12 min run time. Indoors the engine is killer. Another place where it was great, was on a blown out track. All I could tell you is the motor screamed and everyone couldn't believe it was 18.

Most .21's are getting 10-12mins as well. What is the real reason then to go with a .18. Why not just run a .21 with a restrictor in the carb if you want to tame it some. Probably could get the run time even more then the .18TZ would no?

I have been bashing an ofna hyper 7 with a .18cvr for over a year now, works great. We put a .18TZ in my buddies 1/8th dirt oval late model this past summer and he did as well as with his RB WS7. Fuel consumption was not all that different though....

At the "small" US tracks this might be nice, but i would like to see how it is on the larger tracks we have over here in Europe.

Another thing that comes to mind is that it seems it revs even higher than the .21`s. That means trouble in Europe. More and More tracks are getting shut down because of noise levels, and higher revs means more noice...

Efra is working very hard to get the noise level down and regulations for 2012; the goal is a noice reduction of 4db. Do not seems like much but it is a huge difference.

I would rather see a .28 or .35 for that mather, maybe with max revs at 25000rpm`s. I think that is the future, if this hobby want`s to stay alive.

The .18TZ wasn't designed for fuel mileage. If I remember correctly that engine was intended for raw power. This .19 is aimed at fuel mileage. They're claiming a 10% increase in run time over the .21 speed. Just wait and see. I think you'll see the difference. O.S. wouldn't make it if it didn't have a use.
