Default rb ws7 2

hi i just picked up a ws7 2 engine to put in my hotbodies lightning pro 2 but the crank shaft is way too long even with 10 shims it still has about 5mm of play in the clutch bell..it a 2pc shaft ..not even sur what sort of clutch it was designed for..anyone know?

Someone may have cut the crankshaft for a specific application, Some engines came like that new (pilot shaft) but not sure that Rb came stock like that? Most are SG cranks. Thus the need for the extension. You will have to do some research and find an SG adapter thats a little shorter. OR just shim it out.

Probably what happened is someone broke a bolt off in the end so they cut the crank and put the shaft on it. You might be able to just cut the crank or shaft a bit shorter for your application but I would look at trying to find a crank for it.
