What is “heat cycle”

basically you have to go easy on an engine for the first time to allow the metals to bed correctly by doing this will give your engine a longer life span.
I would suggest to go to the run in bible in this section and follow those guide lines when running in an engine for the first time. so when you heat up your engine this creates metal expansion and will allow the engine to start up easier and prevents stress on the engine. then letting your engine cool back down to air temperature and then heat up etc and continue the process following the run in bible in this section , I myself always heat up an engine and never start off cold like I said less stress and longevity for the engine , I do this with my competition heater. all the best with it

OK yep I got it.
I’m following this method below which was put forward by someone else.
.
.
Idle 3 tanks at a time on the box at 200-215, let cool after 3 straight tanks, do this 3 times (so 9 tanks on box) then heat cycle for 2 tanks straight, repeat this step twice, so 13 tanks total. i did this on my last break in and all i can say is ive never had a engine run so good since day one, it is way faster than my last orange head Alpha and holds a tune even better and runs cooler also. im doing this method on all future engines.
