Default SWORKZ ENIGINE LINE: SPOWER

Very interesting line, looks very similar to O.S. v-spec and speed.
Anyone know where these are going to be available.

I will be meeting with Scott one of the SWorkz designers at Nuremburg on Saturday. He is also the designer of the CLX buggy and if I am not mistaken also helped with production on the Durango.

I will let everyone know what I find out ;-)

Being OS based, these are no doubt going to be very good! Be interesting to see the price tag.

Sweet! More OS engines!

XZ-B based no doubt. Should be great engines.

I bet that's going to be a popular motor if the price is right

No doubt, if they can take a Speed and knock 150 to 200 dollars off that would be awesome.

Don't count on it. If they could do that, OS would already be doing it.

You get what ya pay for. You're not going to get a speed for $300. I really think $400 is a fair price for it.

Not arguing that, just pointing out that if OS can't make a speed for 200, no other company is going to be able too either.

My guess, it will probably be a few bucks more than a speed.

No I totally agree with you!

Knocking off $200 would put it at $300 US street price. Not gonna happen. If you buy from HK or shop around in the US they can be found for $400. Like I said I think that is a fair price. Anything less isn't gonna happen. The speed is a top tier engine, not a budget engine. It costs more to manufacture than the budget racing engines do.

I bet it doenst cost them nearly as much as people think. they didnt need a new mold since the case is the same as the JX ninja all they did was change the side lettering.

Making a mold has nothing to do with it.

If you sell a product for ten dollars, are you going to let another company buy it from you for 2, put their name on it and sell it for 5? You would be undercutting yourself.
