The engine is the $&@!. Great power band great run time parts are easy to get. Easy to tune. If you want more info the engine has it's own thread and houstons engine service is an expert when it comes to novas

i run this engine in my mugen with the 9901 pipe and the 42030 header - i love it. i still think the GRP engine from a couple years back is by far the best engine i have owned, but this one is not far back. has great power everywhere and easy to tune. it doesnt have the top end like the new os speed, but i use the standard 21-4, i dont have the 21-4c tuned edition, that is the next motor im getting when this one wears out. i have probably 6 gallons on this motor and its still tight. only replaced the rear bearing 2 times...i first one went due to my poor maintanance, the other was an avid bearing i just replaced. con rod has some slop but not enough to cause tuning/running issues.

i also run the M2C variable weight clutch, o'donnell 97t plug, and 30% nitrotane fuel.

The motor is great! If you tune it right it will run forever, and still have tons of power! Most of the guys at my lhs run this motor and are very pleased!
