So this would allow the Land RC racers the same tuning option :) I've found that port and runner alignment, sleeve and case seal, and sleeve vibration is a side effect when using a sleeve shim. Remember that little .18 hydro I ran this summer? It won every 'A' Hydro heat this summer lol  a little .18 RTR engine woopin the $500+ .21's. That was a good time  Proves with some testing and careful tuning anything can run well. |

going back a few pages the rc RPMs are really not that much higher than KART engines that run case's , barrel's and then a head on top ... the old MAC chainsaw engines use to be REV'd to above 30K .. and a good reed or rotary these days will go to 25k soo .. kart engines are just a lil bigger version and every thing is water cooler'd now ...

It's been a long time since I did karts but I never saw more than 22k.
Our .21's can hit over 40k. By the way, I was looking up some things last weekend and came to this link: http://www.rusengines.ru/?content=ca...en.htm&lang=en For more information please make contact with general Project Manager in USA Edward Naboischikov: [email protected] http://www.rusengines.ru/car/img/car3_big.jpg http://www.rusengines.ru/car/img/car2_big.jpg http://www.rusengines.ru/car/img/car1_big.jpg Interesting to see the far from middle placed carburator |

By the way, I was looking up some things last weekend and came to this link: http://www.rusengines.ru/?content=ca...en.htm&lang=en The design with a 2-part crankcase and how the screws are placed looks simulair as on page 3 of this topic placed by EBMODS. http://www.rusengines.ru/car/img/car3_big.jpg http://www.rusengines.ru/car/img/car2_big.jpg http://www.rusengines.ru/car/img/car1_big.jpg Interesting to see the far from middle placed carburator We have several case designs, one with an off-set carburetor very close to that one. One very interesting thing about this design is it allows the induction window in the crank shaft to be shifted which improves the crank balance. I'm glad to see someone else is thinking about this... The other thing I've notice is the improved air flow, the throttle response almost feels electric. |

Nice little presentation but what interests me isn't the motor but the carb. What's up with little rod on the slide?
NVM, found a pic. Looks like it's just the idle screw. Glad to see they also have an air cooled version. |
The engineering involved to make the Grossi engine is incredible, lot's of time....
I'd love to test one. |
