Going on results down here, and on personal experiance, I would rate the GX-7R as the best buggy motor by far in the GX range (stock out of the box).
The 3 is nice and smooth, but does lack top end in stock form. The 5 is just a bit much in the buggy with it's massive bottom end punch. 7 Port has everything you need in the buggy. Plenty of bottom for any track, wicked mid range, and sizzling top end. I have yet to see any other stock motor (and a few modded ones) burn off the 7 Port in a straight line (the exception being the MG with it's own wicked top end).
Run the 7 Port with the Ascenency 4 shoe clutch using 4 x gold 1.0 springs - perfect. Plenty of power off the mark, but is smooth and controlled. Gives you a big smooth power rush from start to finish :).
Will be interesting to see what the power band of the new GXII is like compared to the 7 Port.

It,s just he is always saying the site is going to be updated with this and that and it doesn't happen. I think that makes for bad business ethics. If he is not going to maintain the site then he should let someone else do it. It's not that hard to do, Importer or not he has the site. I also have the PDFs but i know other people that don't.
I go to the NZ. site to get my info.

I'm working on that and the starter box exploded view, and I'm not going to post something until it's right. I'm sorry if this is not fast enough for you, but you indicated that you already have this information, and my priority has been preparing the sales team, dealers, team drivers, inventory, taxes, and the new GXII. The web site is a distant last right now. Moto has this information and has already posted it posted as well. How many engine distributors (not manufacturers) have this information posted on their site? You can always go to the manufacturers' site and get this information.

also, unless it comes from me, dont hold me to it. I said I would update the site this past weekend, and parts of it are updated, but not finished. Hence, they are not published. the site is not a simple html post, it's a data-driven content management system. There are some other things that I've got planned for later this year, and i have to setup the framework now.

parts listings for GX engines and Go Box starter boxes are posted at www.go-engine-usa.com. Formatting isnt perfect, but since there is such a demand I figured I'd go ahead and post anyway.

Also, the taiwan site is down for a rebuild. I'll let you guys know when they're expecting it to be back up.

Inferno... premiere should expect to hear from one of us Friday or Sat.

Ha - everyone is waiting for those Matt. I've got an empty web page just sitting there waiting for some pics, info and prices.
Taiwan isn't letting anything out of the bag until they are ready on this one.
I am getting hounded for pricing etc here as well. From discussions with Simon at GO, it sounds like the pricing will be very competitive with the GX Series (maybe not including the spare rod though), but nothing definite yet on the pricing or the rod inclusion. Should be hearing something any day now.
Got my order all ready to go - just need to hit the send button :D
