so i put my savage xl fully together today with a axial 32

i dont no much about tuning in the cold but this is whats going on

i prime the engine but it will start run for 5 seconds then shut down. so i put the igniter back in it starts for 3 seconds then shuts down. so i try again and it turns over sounding like its going to start but doesn't

its like it is teasing me
just in reach at one point but then slowly gets farther and farther away

i feel like there not enough gas being brought through the carb but there is when i prime it for a while thats when it starts but then shuts off.

can everyone/somewhere please help me with a good description on what i should do?
