Not familiar with the HPI, but the Hyper 7 is a proven tough buggy. It is not the latest and greatest, but it is a lot of fun and to win a race, you have to be able to finish the race. That will not be a problem with the Hyper 7.

My last buggy was a Hyper 7 Black. I think it is one of the best looking buggies.

Well i did my research and ordered a hyper 7 black... did some more research on here and found out they are very temperemental, pullstarts are crap, motors are hard to tune, shocks are junk, servos are junk. But apparently reliable haha.
I have ordered a hpi trophy after cancelling the hyper because the only bad feedback ive found on the trophy is that nobody knows about them. The pullstart is the same as on my gv cage so i know thats good and like i said i couldnt find any bad comments so i went with it, and i think it looks better out of the two.
I will let you guys know how i go with the trophy and then at least someone will know about them
Thanks for your comments

Same as you I haven't heard much about the hpi trophy. As far as the Hyper 7is concerned the stock servos are not that great, that goes for just about any RTR vehicle. The shocks are pretty good. OFNA products have always been reliable in the aspect that they are tough and not easy to break. The same can be said for some of HPI's products. Either way, you should have fun, and that is what it is all about.
