Default 6061 or 7075 Clutch Shoes

What is the difference in clutch engagement? Which one wears faster? 6061 or 7075

6061 is softer, more grabby and wears quicker

How about carbon shoes? They're softer but I'm told that they are less grabby.

if your running truggy there not good to much slip and not enough punch .

i ran king headz 6061 med shoes and they will last about almost a full gallon if taken care of but they do tend to slip depending on what clutch springs you use. and i noticed that they leave a mess as they ware down more and more. now they do grab good though and seem to be easier on the bell.

i would get the 7075 shoes.

i havnt, tried the losi long run shoes but they look good i did use the dynamite max 7075 shoes boy they do last i never noticed a slip when i ran them but they are harder.. on your bell though and run hotter but if your running a 15 min main there fine.

they grab ok i had to stiffen up my clutch springs to get more punch from them but they dont leave much mess in your bell .

I'm running gold and greens with the Max Lifes right now. What did you have to go to on the springs?

I've run the Losi long wear and they are definitely long wearing with gold and green.

6061 kHz here with green and gold and a out a gallon is right unless I M spinning the .25 then less than a gallon 1/2 to 3/4. The losi long wear are a few $$ more than the kHz stuff too.
