Nahh the 5 port is more then enough for a truggy. The 7 port will have more top end. I had a 5 port myself and it ripped in my HB D8T.

The 5 port is perfect for truggy in my opinion. It's got plenty of top end, and stump pulling bottom end. Just run it and have fun!

i ran the Go 5 port in my jammin x2 for a while. pushed it really well specially for short run up. so yea good choice and the x2 was like wheeling a cenderblock on wheels so it should flick that losi around no prob. pipe choice is key. look for something like the os 2060. good runtime and a little more up top, 14t bell and reel them 7 ports in
