NEW OS 21 XZ-B and Speed XZ-B
#151
yea well i remember about 15yrs ago when OS broke into the car engine market and no one would touch them cause everyone had problems. everyone ran NR and OS was frowned upon just like some of the engines on today's market. My point is OS engines didn't become what they are today overnight. They have come a loooooong way since their first offroad engine, and that measuring stick you mentioned wasn't always theirs.

It's all an opinion on what engine is better. You give the best drivers a b5,c6,alpha or whatever enigine that is cheaper priced an they will still be standing on that podium. This is all for fun and people want to argue over which engine is better.Seriously everybody cant we all just get along.

ya'll still hooked on OS engines?? i have had many many OS engines, thought i might get a good one atleast once! but never did, they are known for needing rod after 2 gallons, looseing pinch after 3 to 3 1/2 gallons. switched to a differnt brand and still running strong after 8 gallons! OS better step it up. even the speed, guys are putting ninja parts in them, that has to tell ya somthin!!

And as for life span, all I have to say is look at the guy behind the screw driver. If 3 gallons is all they're getting out of an OS, the guy behind the driver is what's flawed, not the engines.
