Default Hello

Hi Neal. I ran the clocked btt wc all weekend long and it ran absolutely perfect. it didn't even hiccup or fart. just kidding.

it ran very well on Bones Brew.

It was a giant track near Austin Texas and the Clocked BTT with 41001 header and 9886ss pipe was dialed. I could run it with a perfect tune unlike some other engines that were leaned out way too much for such a high speed track. It came in the pits purring like a kitten and it was hot there like 95-100 F. I started 6th in the expert B main and on the start I went a bit wide in the first turn and blasted over 1-5th place in the triple. it was awesome. of course I got hung on a pipe a few turns later I was so excited. Oh well I finished strong and neither me or Bobby flamed out all weekend long and we finished our mains strong. Thanks again for the awesome engine work and tips.

Well here's a question for you guys. I have a newly Clocked B6 Pro and have a gallon of Byrons 30-8 blend. Should I get a higher lubrication blend before running it?

Fired up my new Blast V12 and ran a quart of Bones 30/8 through it in preparation for a race this weekend. I got a new 2058 pipe for it also. I can tell this thing is gonna be fun!!

I've run fresh engines in with 30/9 Byron's with no issues. PRE-HEAT to at least 200°f tho...

The problem isn't the oil percentage, it's that only half of that 8% is castor. Just add a couple ounces of good castor to it and let it rock.

I've never seen castor in an auto parts store but then again, I've never looked.

Klotz Benol is a cheap and readily available one that is excellent. Many hobby shops carry it (I get mine from a Hobbytown) and if not, they should be able to get it from their usual distributors. You might also be able to find it at kart shops and it's plentiful online, just do a google search.

Maxima makes a great one too. Readily available through maximausa.com.

Novarossi sells the best you can get. The only problem is that it is ridiculously expensive.

But before doing all that, I should tell you that a certain someone has been informing me privately that the worlds blend is not 50/50 but more like 6% castor, 2% synth. If that's true, it should be a good fuel as is. That being said, I personally would still advise adding a bit of castor for break-in at least.

The brand of car oil "Castrol" has nothing to do with castor oil. Castor oil can be had in a pharmacy also. Motorcycle shop will have it. Wow "kart shop", haven't heard that in a while, lol. I raced karts through the 70's.

Yes it does....the engines are crisper with increased throttle response......... We have tried a few of them now and there is no question the new bearing does make a difference on the modified versions.... I Have not messed with the stockers too much so I can't comment there.....

We do not have them in stock yet, but we are working with Alex to have them soon. If you already have one, you could follow the instructions here on how to mail it to us.

Feel Free to email me if you have any other questions.
