BTW, I did run it slightly rich until the 15th tank, then I started to lean it out just a little bit..

I let mine idle twice for 10mins, with a full cool down period inbetween.. Then I ran 5 tanks through it in front of the house bliping the throttle from idle to 1/2 throttle.. Then I took it to the field down the road and ran another 5 tanks through it bliping the throttle from idle to 3/4 throttle.. Then I ran 2 more tanks through it bliping the throttle from idle to full throttle.. After that I ran another 3 tanks through it with short 1-3 second bursts at full throttle.. Then I took it to the track and just ran it like I was racing it until it was fully broken in.. Now it idles like a champ and screams like a woman on PMS! All in all its a healthy little monster

IMO an engine needs at least a gallon to fully seat in and stabilize.....I prefer to go thru this stage in a non race environment..... track running is fine, but I don't like racing them before a gallon.....

Yea I still haven't raced it..For tanks 16-25 I would take it to the track on off days when I would have the track all to myself.. That allowed me to closely monitor the engine temps every lap, and adjust the tuning as nessessary..

Played with my toys today, the 28 os is a torque beast i need a better clutch to hold it at low end.The ascendancy runs just fine a good match to b5 but not really any better THAN THE B5 but the head is shiney.

Nevermind, thought you were talking about clutches for some reason

Well got my Clocked XZB this week and put it into my D8T, put 8 tanks on it and I was having the front pull on me in the straight and coming out of the corners. I did not do any fuel tank times as I will be doing that on Monday. Wicked power and cranks long on the straights with no signs of topping out. I am VERY impressed with the work that the Neal did to this motor and this wont be the last motor I will be getting from him.
Way to go Clockwork Racing for making my favorite motor even better! Do you think we should call Neal Dr. Feelgood for the grin he puts on our faces??
Thanks again guys!
