you can go with the R5R, S-Manifold and 2104 pipe. the R5R will provide you enough torque for whatever track with a Truggy.

Default Cody King back with Reds through 2016 Worlds

Hey guys. Just checking in. Cody will be back with Reds through the Las Vegas Worlds in 2016. We are excited to continue working with Mario and Marco and keep going where we left off with the great mileage and reliability.

I will try to be more active in this thread and answer questions and such.

A question was asked about the plug for Reds engines, and by far the best and most reliable plug is the Reds #5 (T5C). This plug will work for an hour even if the engine is too hot or slightly out of tune. That's why I like it. If the engine gets hot and the main is an hour, a P3 won't last.

Hi reds user. Need some insight
I have older R5T with 2104 pipe. Running in mbx7, vp 25% fuel, 95f. I wonder if the hsn and lsn position is about the same as R5tte posted several pages back. Because mine is different, hsn is just atouch in from flush, lsn about 1,5 turn in from flush. But i got about 8,5 mins runtime so have to pit at 7. Temp at 215f.
Thanks

how come my p3's seem to last me two gallons each, and I live in the south of Spain where we get 35-40c temps regularly and have no problems finishing the mains? I don't get this P3 bashing..

i think pk donīt want you to tell that the p3 is a bad plug, itīs just slightly too hot. a full hour main is a total different story than a 40 or 45 main.

world champs father/mechanic puts his 2 cent in here, we should appreciate!

I used the 5tc with no problems .... Also run the p3 and run well but prefered the 5tc ... You will have more runtime, engine is more constant

there is no p3 bashing. but why would you run the p3 in such hot conditions any way? do you know that you are going agaist manufacturer recommendations (both Reds and OS) by running the p3 in such hot conditions? especially when the t5c is such a good plug in the first place?

I never got the P3 plug to work in the old V-specs either. You easely lost a minute in runtime by using P3 compared to P4 or even p5 when hotter than 26-28 degrees celsius. i usually joke araound and call the P3 the "idiot" plug. LOL :-)

I mostly use the P4 plug... consistent and not too hot.
