According to TNS's dyno, a stock R5R makes over 3hp, and his modified one 3.3. According to same dyno, big blocks make from 3.3 to near on 4hp stock.
I believe the Reds dyno numbers...

Did you run the engine yet? if so, impressions?

Not me but a couple of vids from team manager. I'll update once I've run mine too.

Default Manifold

hi i'm using a red7 rvo evoke with the 2104 exhaust pipe and manifold S. we run in a small astroturf circuit.
The problem we have is that the engine is too soft down due to the high traction surface. Does anyone know the Reds manifold measurements?
I have an exhaust pipe OS 2090. Did someone test the 2090 on reds engines?

Gear 13/48?

What clutchsetup do you use?

I think OS2090 will just make it worse s the OS pipes is somehow a little restrictive as OS engies has alot of timing.

I am using
Gear 13/46
Kyosho clutch aluminium
1,0 springs
this configuration with the motor os B2101 + 2090 worked very well

chenge gearing to 13/48. That will help alot.

clutch is good. you could try one 1,1 spring and two 1,0.

Definitely try the 48t spur gear. A reds bottom end pipe should also help.

Default R7 vs WR7

hello, someone knows why the reference (ES214802) of the wr7 sleeve is different from the r7 ref engine (ES214892).
I thought that the r7 and wr7 motors were the same. except for the dlc treatment.

I donít think they are the same. I think wr7 may have more bottom end.

The WR7 is ported slightly different to give it more bottom end power. It is noticeable. It has the DLC coating as mentioned, as well as a newer, lighter weight cooling head. I recommend the 2143 pipe with the WR7 to get the most power and still have incredible top end.
