The manifold and pipe, plug, clutch, gearing, engine tune and tyres all have a part to play, even the air temperature, so expect different opinions.

The real answer is, tune your engine for the right temp/performance, then see what your runtimes are and if they're around what you're looking for.

I have a really dumb question on my engine. I just put in my new 5TH and was running it on the track and was running great, temp was around 190. So I went to lean on it and it created a bog. Somtimes it was half way in the straight and somtimes was at the end of it. I could not get the temp over 205. Any ideas?

Your to lean on top end. Reds engines does run alot cooler than moast other enignes due to the design of the head button.

Yes I put more fuel to it and it helped I just was new to reds motor and seen the temp really low. I was worried it being to low I guess. It ran best around the 195 range. Love the power with it. I also was fighting a storm rolling in and kept havin to play with the tune. Thanks for yalls input.

Lol I just seen that also. Still shows high temps I know mine won't run that.
