H5 = super hot
H6 = hot
H7 = cold

the H6 is suitable 99% of the time..... The # of the plug shows the diameter of the wire. Thinner the wire hotter the plug, thicker means colder

Yes our range of plugs are much hotter than any other....

Hello all!
Just wanted to pop in and say hi! I have signed on to run TP engines and cant wait to get started! Looks like 2011 will be a great year!

losiracer78 10-21-2010 07:04 PM

welcome Fred I really think your going to like the Engine. Tp engines have great power all the way though and every smooth. I really think that were going to have a great team in 2011 for sure.

J.Whiting 10-21-2010 07:09 PM

welcome to the team... i really like the smooth powerband the engine has... you will not be disappointed with this fine mill.... so how is going to make a good ( tecno ) song for the team to play for driver introductions?????

motomatt 10-21-2010 11:43 PM

oh Lord.................NO TECNO POP !!!!!!!

hambone 10-22-2010 12:09 AM

So are the TecnoPower engines much different than the TQ and the old GRP's? I know the outside doesn't really matter but it's obvious the blocks are old school GRP's. Are they all much different in the crank and sleeve timing dept. or do we basically have the GRP resurrected? I have friends that swore by GRP's.

The Tecno does resemble the GRP's and the TQ engines. GRP is no longer as you know, the TQ engine is made for TQ by Tecno. Do they look similar? Yes, but the Tecno makes much better power than the GRP or TQ. The Rody tuned Tecno was just released and should be here in the US before too much longer, as well as the .23 engine for truggy. I know I am excited to get a hold of that tuned engine!!!

Just knowing Rody is the kind of person that always wants to improve an already good thing makes these engines VERY interesting IMO.

Tony, by chance have you run the heavier duty HIPEX 2069 pipe? I located one hidden on your site though it looked to have an onroad header with it.

The stinger reinforcement and likely thicker walls have to be great for offroad...I cannot see how performance would suffer that much. I sure hate to go back to the days of the thin wall Italian pipes. :mad:

Going to give the Tecno a try in my MBX6T.

Thanks,
Scott
