To update my report on this engine, I just got back from a race in my neighboring country. I actually bought 2 engines for this race, 21 XZR and Nova Flash tuned. I tested both engine during the race and ended up using my OS XZR for heats and final. I really like this engine, it has so much torque and the top speed is on par with my Flash tuned. Tuning wise as you know OS carb is the easiest to tune and it holds its tune very well during the race. All of my friends couldn't believe that it was an OS thats in my car. In fact I m the only one using it which most of the field surrounded by Novas, IDMs, Picco etc..

Now all my friends wanted to get the OS....

I qualified 4th Amain and ended up 4th as well. I spent most of the race in 2nd position until my shox came undone and my front left universal broke.

I was using Nova pipe 2052 with 6 fins conical header. (I didn't have the time to test it with 2015 pipe)
Fuel 25% Tornado.
Temp: track 40C
Engine 105C and the highest was 115C
Plug used OS RP7.
No head shims added. Only using factory set head shims.
No INS box used.
Runtime was 5:20min maybe can get more if I use INS box and 2015 pipe.

After race check, looking through the exhaust port, everything looks normal no scratches or scoring at all...maybe I need to take a look in detail when I dismantle the engine.( If there's any I ll be updating here) Compression is very good. The bearings are as tight as new.

Overall I really like this engine so much that I wanted to sell off my Nova Flash tuned to my friend and buy another 2 of this engine.

So far only RCmodel has it (HK webshop) thats where I got mine from, but at the moment they are out of stock, I ask my LHS to bring in some and they say they are still waiting from their distributor for it.

This sounds like a TRUE OS type engine, ballzeee as all F$#K - cant wait for them to re-lauunch as i am keen to snap this engine up for sure! I have always had good results in OS engines!!!!
