Default New Ascendancy Racing Effortless Racing Clutch

I just wanted to share this with the public. I have been using this clutch for about 4 Months now and all I can say is it is the best clutch I have ever run. The web site just came online. The clutch is solid 7075 Heat Treated and Hard Coated for long life. Comes with everything you need to tune with out the extra cost. Here are some pics from the web site. It is a new company and they know what they are doing.

Looks pretty solid, like the idea that it comes with the different springs, may have to try one very soon.

Hmmm... I like the concept at least. I might have to try one. And they're local! I wonder if I know them?

Domit,

I think you might... Yes they are local to you in the Dallas area.

I am through 1 to 1.5 gallons and still running the same shoes. But I am testing them to see how long they can last for me.

I like the concept, but I don't get how one part works. What holds the spring retainer on? (the little doodad that you twist to "load" the springs.) Is that held by the flywheel nut? (in other words, are you removing the flywheel nut every time you change shoes?)

I think I need to see this in person... The price is comparable to what a "regular" clutch setup costs, so if it works better... great!

Domit,

You are correct. The nut holds it on. So yes you must remove it to change the shoes but it is still much faster then messing with the springs and the spring tools.

Houston,

I have never tried to use the losi shoes but I am not sure you would want to due to wear. Now if you are asking because you would like differnt clutch material I have heard it is being worked on as we speak.

Houston, due to the unique design of the retainer/flywheel you must use the Ascendancy shoes.

We are, however, looking at offering some Losi shoes for the standard Losi flywheel that are made of the same high grade 7075 aluminum.

Nate.

This looks pretty cool, Dave was mentioning something about Anderson wanting him to run a different clutch at the Nats.
