So is this normal on Sirio engines? I m trying to find bearings the same size but not OEM. Can anyone direct me? As I said I ve gone through 2 sets already, i replaced it every race because juat after 45mins main the bearing just got too much play and sounded very rough. At the moment I m limiting the usage of my Sti for race finals only.

You will find it very very difficult to find bearings other than OEM. The front bearing is the exact same number as the nova front one but they are different sizes. I complained about my EVO3's along time ago as i was having this exact same problem. And now my STI had done the same.

Today i bought a new set of bearings, fortunately the OS TZ's rear bearing is the same size as the Sti however the front one was not the same size so had to buy Sirio's. The OS bearing looks very tight compare to the Sirio. Even when new the Sirio front bearing has got little bit of play. Hopefully this combination will solve the problem. If not I will try the ceramic one that Murnan Mods has on their website.

Bearing Size

I have an AB modded Sirio S21 BKEVO3 and really liked up until the point the main bearing went (about 2 gallons). Does anyone know the size of the bearings so I can get some ordered? I have checked Kyosho America and they do not list a size or replacement bearing? Thanks for the help!

If people are worried that its realy bad or just dont like the thought change it to a rubber sealed front bearing somthing like a tko front bearing here is there web site. http://tkocompetitiondev.com/shop/index.php?cPath=38_41. they are very good bearings ceramic bearings rb concepts also make a ceramic rear bearing to fit a sirio 21 engine size is ("25.3mm outside dia 14.2mm inside dia and 6mm wide") ive never tryed them but if some one is keen or has tryed one let us know what they last and paform like. Regards Jeremy.

Sorry for my above post (bearing size for s21BKEVO3) I just saw this post - it appears the size for this is the one you mentioned above? Thanks again!

Is there any suggestion on which brand r make should I use rather than OEM?

Look at this:

See their RC Ceramic bearings, got some for my engines and are top-notch, haven't seen anything bad from TKO Bearings. A very nice place to buy things, quick and speedy service, answers very soon at your questions. For sure a great place to buy.

Does anybody know what the factory settings are for the .12 STI? Yes, I know I can just tune it myself, but I am trying to find this information as a baseline to compare it to what I'm doing.

Thank you :)

Aparently the TZ baring does not fit the Sti, Sirio has 22mm outer diameter while the TZ's has 21mm, however the inner is the same 12mm and the width is 5mm. So have to get the Sirio OEM bearing again.
