I guess I am wondering if the little extra money for the ABI tuned and the lightened head is worth it, because the Alpha Discovery's are back ordered. Thanks

I am building my NEW MBX6T I attached a couple pics.
nice paint job these two engines are very close... I think I give the nod to the discovery, just because it's newer technology and has the new carb, but the 3 port is a great engine. One of my favorites of all time. I know I'm not much help, but it's just as hard for me to make up my mind as it is for you If it was me buying the engine?... I would do the 3 port. I wouldn't run the 2057 either unless we were in Europe, then it might work. 2013 and 2058 are the way to go... for your truggy, use the 2013.

That's a great engine. Idle a few tanks and break it in slowly. After running rich for about 3/4 to a gallon, you can lean it out. 2013 is King. We use 6.5 inserts in most of our engines. Not sure about the OD plug...

The 2013 will be an awesome pipe for that motor.. I've considered the MTE engine, but I am holding out for either a Tebo Or King Worlds edition combo..

I was thinking about that too. Guess they will be discounted heavily now. I am surprised they put that much effort in having an engine with his name, and not signing him long term.

I would'nt really worry about it, that same motor is already released without his name on it.

I'm really surprised, what a great price! Team Orion really has their price points in order, pretty amazing.
I was in the market for a new motor and couldn't resist the price! My order is in just waiting for the kit to be released.
