Sounds like it could be a compression issue which would make sense after a dirt ingestion.

Actually not at all. My engines run perfect tuned 2 3/4 on the LSN all day long. That's on 20% though.

Default My tune settings?

I was wondering if anyone has needle settings like this? .12tz 3port engine, P6 glowplug, 30% Byron race fuel. Settings are LSN 1/4 turn out, HSN 3/4 turn out. Idle stop screw at 1mm. The engine has lots of power and speed and runs at 210 degrees. Plenty of smoke out the exhaust at full throttle and some(very little) raw fuel out the exhaust at an idle. It also has a good idle.

On the east coast our engines will not even think about starting running the Lsn that far out.

the problem with mods on motors it that it narrows your tunning band and a speed is already modded from the factory, so I bet a modded speed is a handful to tune. I know with our speeds it's 1/4 hour increments once you get your tune close.

Mine is a losi 8t 2.0, but I replaced my fuel tank this weekend also. I do know the mugen's have fuel tank issues.

The mod is real light but it is noticeable and tuning is not an issue with this mod, some I agree but it all depends on how radical the mod is. I like the way modded engines perform and the idle from the powerhousercperformance mods is like none I have ever seen.

For me 3 1/2 turns out on the LSN would be super rich. Almost a break-in setting. That's where I start when I go back to a base setting and it always needs to be leaned in... A LOT. My settings are exactly 2 3/4 out on the LSN and 2 1/4 out on the HSN. Perfectly race tuned.

Needle settings depends on restricter size nitro % and pipe choose. I live in the south east and my vspecs speeds and ninjas all run around 3.5 out on the lsn and 2.25 on the hsn with mid needle flush at 9 oclock

Modded speed that's over kill, or any modded high end engines, I could see a cheaper b21bf 3-port, cuz I heard they become a new engine but a speed? What kind of differences did you notice?

Take a plastic zip tie in the exhaust port and turn the engine over by the flywheel, it should pop it up for enough to get a flat head screwdriver under it.
