Hi,
does anyone know the inner diameter on the ball link for AD2 engine?
Want to use it on another engine for better fitment and easier during maintenance.
I want to put it on a performa engine.

Hello Arctic RC,

If You are thinking of the Ball Link that is attached to the Slide Valve, the inside diameter is 8mm.

Cheers..

Thanks, yes that’s correct.
Do OS have different sizes on their ball links due to different no.?
I need a ball link with 10mm in inner diameter with the set screw 90 deg compared to the ball.

Hello Arctic RC,

As far as I know since OS V-Spec, they don't have a Ball Link that has 10mm inside mounting hole diameter.

Cheers..

I just bought an older OS Speed spec 2, what would be a good pipe/manifold for truggy?
Thanks!

Hello thecman26,

I used to run Spec 2 back in those days and seems to be good with 2060. But I always running Buggy class, so maybe You could pair it with 85mm Manifold for Truggy application.

Cheers..

The Spec 2 has a lot of bottom end. The 2060 smoothens it out and gives it a little more top end.
But most Truggy racers run it with the 2090 for more torque and the longer 85mm header for even more torque.

I'm going with the 2060, since the Serpent truggy as it is geared and its' weight makes it really snappy on the bottom end and guys are taming it down in setup with clutches. Then go from there.
Thanks for the help!

The imacxpt webpage came up in a google search showing a Flashpoint FP02 engine (search for FP2505) for $103.44. Is this the deal of the century, or a scam? Looks more like a scam. Website written on Dutch and no address on it. Any feedback on this page?

Hey guys,
I'm new to OS engines and just bought the AD2 combo with 2100 pipe.
Has anyone tried OS 2100 pipe against Ultimate 2141 pipe and can give some input on power and top speed? Are they equal in performance?
A fellow club racer had his pipe bent in a minor crash so I would like to know which one you prefere.

I’ve got an OS based Drake AD2 motor with matching pipe and manifold.

Had an unfortunate kart wheel flipping wreck, and it basically smashed my pipe. I plan on ordering another but in the mean time, I have a brand new Reds pipe.

Anyone ever use a reds pipe on an OS motor and with OS manifold? Did it completely kill the performance or just a little? I also have a reds manifold as well.

Thanks!
