Good fuel at a good price, good people running it too. Pretty cool that they offer a spout that fits their bottles too. No need to suck it out of a gallon jug, just thread it onto the bottle directly.
Locally we used to use vp but guys switched to byrons after going through a lot of rear bearings on vp. Now everyone is switching to bones due to cost (byrons got really expensive the last couple years) and people are having good luck with it.

I have a 2101 with about 5.5 gallons on it. Its my backup motor now. It was running great but all of a sudden started to have an unstable idle. Ive tried tuning it endlessly and even had some very experienced racers play with it and it would not stay lit. Ive heard it could be an air leak, or possibly bad bearings. I replaced both bearings and sealed the black plate, but its still doing the same thing. The piston looks great, no scratches, which I have experience with on other engines. Any suggestions thoughts? It still has compression and runs great, just can't stop for fuel or crash....

Try and spray brakecleaner on you front bearing while running on idle. If engine stops at onve bad front bearing. Unstable isle and lack of powwr down low is the first two signs of an engine reaching its lifespan. Check front besring forst

Check the carb slide boot and o-ring at the base where it goes in the crankcase. There's an o-ring on the idle screw also. And make sure venturi is fully seated. Lots of guys pull the filter off to clean in and don't realize they've lifted the venturi.

What brand are we using in order to replace bearing? ProTek, TKO, OS, BocaBearing, AvidRC, ACER?

Hey gents, I just picked up a few VZB V-Specs in a purchase. They are used, but still in pretty good condition. Iím sure they would need some work to get going. I know these are very out of date engines, almost vintage! Lol What would you guys do with them? Invest some money in them to fix up and sell, try to sell used, or fix up and keep for practice engines? I have plenty of other engines that I race with, so donít really need them. Just looking for opinions/ideas?

Hey bro other than fuel consumption engines have not changed much in the last 20 years I'm sure they can still compete today

I would suggest rcgroups.com. RCTech is primarily cars and surface use.

Thats very vague... which motor? Usually on the OS Engines page there are many to include discontinued.
