looking forward to it..been trying to work out what to buy to make it up to 2010 spec excepting the longer chassis/rear cvd and radio tray..problem is I can get the new diff bulkheads 2010 spec and all they did with the diffs is fit 8x16 bearings instead of 8x14 with the composite reducer..but so far no one is listing the 13x20 bearings or the 20mm spacers(352076) to fit between them..which is ridiculous cause you can't fit the 2010 bulkheads without them..anyway it's a while till the season starts here so i'm going to set the car up and save up for the $300 wishlist I just made out on amain..heh..

To be honest I wouldn't sweat it on the new bulkheads and bigger bearings.
I have never had a problem with the original size bearings, as long as you run the spacer ring and the 09 bulkheads.
I have changed the odd bearing throughout the year after particularly wet or muddy meetings, which is not a biggie, and would need to be done with the newer bigger bearings anyway. With the old set up you get less rolling resistance and weight (which was the whole idea in the first place), plus longevity of the bearings has not been a problem to the best of my knowledge. I use the AVID "Revolutions" bearings throughout my buggy, and find them very affordable and very long lasting.
The 808 with the 09 upgrades is the best option IMO. I'm not too sure about the new longer chassis. My buggy runs better with the wheelbase shortened from the standard set up by 2mm, so a longer chassis is of no use to me. Obviously depends on the track you run etc. Just my .02c worth :cool:

PS: If you are going to run the 09 spec shock boots and revised ball ends and caps - make sure you run 2 x old shock seals (the O Ring seals from inside the shock body) on the shock shaft. This will prevent over pressurising the shock and pushing shock oil past the seals. Something a lot of us found happening with the 09 shock set up. Use the seals and you will never have a problem :)

thats cool..I naturally have shedloads of 8x16's....can they be used on all the diffs with the 09 housings?

yes they can i dont use the 14mm at all just dont use the 14mm dust covers

Hey guys tell me about the go tech pipe? What pipes do what? All I have are dynamite 086 053 an a 007. I am go to crcrc with the 7 port , and the track is big so I plan on running a 086, or maybe I ll get a go pipe? What do u all run the 7 port. And what's up with needles on the new engines?? Thank u guys.

The GO 2072 is da bomb with any of the new range of GX motors.
This pipe was primarily designed around these motors, and it performs brilliantly.
Out of the pipes you have, the 053 is most suited to the 7 Port. The 086 to the 5 Port.
Myself and others have compared the 2072 to other pipes including the older GO 2047 and 0801 pipes. With the GX motors the 2072 wins hands down.

No big deal with the needles on the new motors. They are quite sensitive to adjustment (especially the HSN), but this is no different to previous models.
I am not sure if the US customers are getting the long or short LSN needles in their motors. You will need to check. Tuning either carb is easy with the newer design carb fitted to the GX range.
All our motors have the longer LSN, and tuning is a no brainer, even for guys new to nitro motors. Set it and forget it pretty much :cool:

I dont meen to to hijak a already hijacked thread but I was just wondering if your saying to run 4 total o rings inside the shock?I converted my shocks but made sure I run the shock end as fare as it would go onto the shaft and I dont think it is pushing any oil out but I could be wrong.
