Because Adrien Bertin is involved these engines are just from the same manufacturer as his previous TeamOrion engines. The 14.2 bearing tells it all....

The carb is a shame. I've never had any luck with those. They've given me trouble under multiple names.

I have 6 of his engines, both v4 and v5. They have been an absolute pleasure, and just as easy to tune as any of my OS engines. Only thing I noticed is the Performa tend to have a 2 stage idle which doesn't bother me. Adrien said that this is not the case with the new engines. They may be made in the same factory, but it has an entirely new crankcase, and some improvements which improve on the already impressive power, and running time. I get 10 minutes easy with all of them, and he said he's improved the mileage, and not just the power with the new line. So If I can get over 10 minutes, and gain more power, it's a win for me. The 7 ports are already sold out.

Maybe I've been unlucky, but I've had trouble getting stable tunes on a Werks and a Triton which use the same style of carb. Sounds like it might just be me.

There are more complains with XRD engines as well. I also have seen complains with the REDS engines. Probably they are not assembled carefully or with large tolerances. To me it was sad to see even the new Nova brand is using these carbs.

Does the American version have a different button or are we adding .10 shim ? I'm curious since these were developed over the lake and they are forced to use the 16% nitro content . I watched a vid on Youtube last night where he timed it and it had some great numbers esp blowdown . Idk how it can be great on fuel but the numbers suggest she (7 port) should be a ripper. I really like the way the taper on the LSN on the Corsatec I hope it runs better than the Gen 3 SV I have. I've got mine to run good but not perfect ,she doesn't run ad good as the price tag suggested it should. Yes I have done all the shimming and switching to other fuels before someone suggest I do that. Anyways Corsatec has my attention with this one

If you buy one from an USA distributor you may expect it come for 25%, buying from Europe then there is a slight chance they are set for 16%
I think for the best answer you contact corsatec.

I know all OS onroad engines sold within Europe still come with 25% shims
