Are you guys running 25% or 30% nitro fuel with these engines. Also what are the benefits of running either one, mileage or ease of tuning?

In Europe we do not run more than 16% (actually it is 13% by volume) because of an EU law. And it does not matter a lot, jus remove a shim and play with with the left over clearance to get the best result.
And yes, less nitro means more methanol so more runtime.

Let us know how it goes. Also, what will you be comparing it to previously? Unless the Nova's perform amazing? At the price point I will stay with OS/FX.

if you do have a 9901 pipe, and can try it, please do. Too cold for me here to even think about trying the engine. :-)

Thanks.

Just my opinion sir. I never found a Nova based motor where the 9901 wasnt just flat?? It was smooth and had good mileage, but no legs. A good small track pipe. I had the best results with the Nova 2135.

overall I would say the 3 port. In general if the track is small and technical or medium and somewhat technical then the 3 port. If the track is medium or large then the 5 port.

this engine likes running rich on top and lean on the bottom.... very different from an OS or OS based engine. TONS of bottom. with the raining going on ... haven't raced it yet ... hopefully this weekend.
