There is also a B3 and B5 which don’t have the DLC crank and ceramic rear bearings.

Anyone know what novarossi exhaust matches up with the new nova off road exhaust?

I'm really intrigued about the new carb. From experience, Novarossi engines were a bit finnicky to tune, and required long break-in cycles-- at least compared to OS, but they were super reliable. Not sure why the DLC coated crank: Novarossi steel was top-notch, no coatings needed. Hoping it's just a gimmick. Either way, for the price it's impressive!

Heres a quick vid i made, ive run 1.25 litres of fuel through the engine and its still very tight but producing really good power. Trying to drive one handed so you can film is way harder than i thought. https://youtu.be/-KI3j2CP3dw

I am not trying to be negative? But I recently gave a 521S a try. It was not to my liking. I just could not get the tune down. I sold the engine to anther individual, I did warn of my tuning woes. He put on an OS carb and it was fine?

Ive heard the same about Reds being hard to tune. I really need something pretty easy to tune.

I have found the Novarossi carb to be easy to tune as much as the OS carbs that I have. So much so I use the Novarossi spare carbs I have on some engines I have in my collection. The OS 21J, and the Novarossi 24067 carb are 2 of my favorites. I also havd good results with the Performa 2 needle carb which I use on one of my SH engines. The SH engine carb is a pain in the ass, however the engine is solid. Once I swapped the carb out, it was quick to get up to speed. I would assume the carbs from Nova would be as easy to tune as Novarossi.
