Default Maxima Engines\Fuel

Who knew you couldn’t run a profitable company without actually selling a product\service to consumers.

This was all either a ponzi scheme on investors or laundering dirty money, if its not then the dudes running the company are literally the stupidest people in business.

These kind of articles are food for the privateers wanting to be sponsored.
All what is seen does not say they have new sponsors, it is quite common when sponsoring stops these guys just buy stuff to proceed.

Naw bud, none of that. They made a specific product for a specific reason, and over 10 years, and hundreds of thousands spent, they have not reached their goal. They never opened this as a retail company. Investors, naa, its amazing what rich folk can do when they are bored...

Hello token & HaulinBass,

Maxima is a brand from a legit Chemical company in Thailand. The owner loves motorsports. There was a moment where the owner and the son got into R/C scene and started to involve deeper into R/C activity.

Cheers..

Not to mention we had been talking about it in the dedicated thread: Maxima O.S. .21 Engine

Was pretty silly to me when you take an already great Product (OS Motor) and do nothing special to it (lets not talk about the Crap workmanship on the first runs) just to have your own "Motor Brand". Then you have some poor Racers trying to buy them at any cost - when the cöuld have had 2 (of the same) OS motors 🤣🤣🤣 I do not care how much money you have to spend, but if you did not see their motors as a gimmick, then you were not paying attention. Saw no appeal myself, and quite frankly, its a good thing, they did not sell any to anyone!!!!

^^^^ YEP ^^^^

From what I know about the onroad engines there is about 1 ot 2 degrees extra timing on the crankshaft and exhaust port. If you are willing to pay 100 dollar more for an almost same engine then go ahead.

We saw the same thing on GIMAR GT Miami 2020 engine. Basically a mephisto 21 onroad with a blue head. Same crank timing (no grinding on DLC Crank)

Broke down after 1.5 gallons. Crap engine. Deffinitely not worth €400+ price tag. Hell my N21R7 ran even better last weekend.

No grinding on DLC crank does not say a thing. If they pay enough they can get own timings direct from the CNC machine and do not forget that the timing can also be changed on the crank case side.

And yes, in the last years I have seen fast wear pistons, even on expensive engines.

I never found a good price engine for what they promised.
I always thought it was super expensive
