Does anyone know what size the spring for the pull start backplate kit and where to get one? The spring goes inside the and has a pin that rides on it for pull starting. My spring broke and all I need is the spring. I cannot find the information anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey I’m not too sure what you’re exactly asking for but the tags mention the pull start so I feel like this is what you’re looking for

unfortunately I don’t know of the size of the spring but this is only 12$ and you also get another one way bearing, pull start, etc. Pull starts are notorious for failing after a while so I’d recommend this just so you have extra spares.

the part you linked is to eliminate the pull start entirely which is something the folks on these forums recommend - especially if racing as pull starts not only tend to fail, but can limit your engine’s performance at high rpms. Please keep in mind if you buy DYNE1503 you will also need a compatible starter box for your vehicle.

if you’re just bashing I’d get the pull start I linked.
