Default Fuel lid puller?

Are there fuel lid loop pullers that fit multiple buggy makes?

Lawda mercy $5 for that kit?! BITD we used a small zip tie on the tank lid. Piece of pretty colored fuel tubing slid over the zip tie. Leave enough zip tie exposed to lock the tubing on with another zip tie and cut everything but the connector part off second tie. Looks just like that DE kit minus the T-handle. Cash outlay maybe 25 cents?
Kyosho Kid and MPorter like this.

I pretty much use DE tank pull kits on all my nitros and I really like them. Never had an issue but yes, steep price for what it is. It's not primarily an eye candy type of piece because it works great but it does look better than the fuel tube/zip tie method. Can't go wrong either way:-)

I'm late to the party. I have a Losi fuel lid and it works ok depending upon the body. That being said. I have many Zip ties and fuel tubing openers that work great.
Cheap, easy, and last a long time. Just don't drive on your lid or it will rub off. Lol...

I received my DE Racing lid pullers. Do they include a second zip tie as a spare? 🤙

No but any slim-ish zip tie will work. I've resued mine in different kits over time.

I guess I didnít write clear.. I got 2 zip ties in one package. I donít think there is use for 2 so Iím assuming itís a spare. 🤙
