Default Pull start cord dangling

Hello, the boys where driving the Losi 8ight t nitro and the pull start cord unraveled and now it won’t retract. Since I have put the new dynamite 053MR pipe on it, I have been experiencing issues with the engine. Flywheel came loose, sorted that, now the pull cord. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like loctite is needed on the RTR screws and maybe time to dump the cord and get you a bump box back plate and a bump box and rock on my friend., you got a great RTR there

You likely broke the spring inside the pullstart. You'll have to replace it. You should only be making short but firm pulls, no more than 6ish inches. The other option is a bump box which is more gear but more reliable.

Unlikely you broke rewind spring more than likely you stretched spring so it wont rewind string 100% You can undo screws and manually wrap spring back on do it a full wrap after you get it wound 100% ..

You will never want to use a pull start again! Bump box is the easiest way to start a nitro engine. It makes running nitro so much more enjoyable 👍
