Default Sealing Engine

What are your guys’ thoughts on sealing engines? Was thinking about sealing up the .21 on my 8ight, but wanted to see if it makes a noticeable difference or what it it’s actually good for.

If you have an air leak it might fix it. Otherwise it won't do much.

Yep^ if your engine is having tuning issues do to an air leak (first check your front bearing) then seal it, if not I wouldn’t put that gunk around your carbs joining parts as it makes a mess and makes cleaning your carb or moving it a headache because all those parts really need to be tight and clean so u don’t create an air leak which is probably what would happen if u used a sealant without a leak. It’s probably better to just fix an air leak the correct way and find where it’s coming from.
